The Neighborhood Resources Corporation, Inc. (NRC) is a non profit organization that works exclusively for neighborhoods and neighborhood organizations in the City of South Bend. To find out what the NRC has been up to, check out the NRCNEWS 1st Quarter 2011 and our 2010 Annual Report.
Neighborhood representatives along with City, Council, and Institutional volunteers from the United Religious Community, IU South Bend, and the University of Notre Dame serve as the *Board of Directors
The NRC offers technical assistance, training scholarships, and three grant initiatives designed to engage, educate, empower, and energize neighbors to reinvent their neighborhoods. So whether you want to start a neighborhood association or nurture an existing one, throw a Block Party; file for 501c3 status or strengthen your organizaiton through our Technical Assistance Grant<; or ; INSPIRE neighbors to develop a project to encourage neighborhood engagement and collaboration or join neighbors at the NRC sponsored Roundtables or leadership workshops, NRC is here for you!
